Have you been playing around with the idea of selling your home but not really been IN THE MARKET! Some people think that they can talk to any realtor and get the best results! 2011 Lawrence Ks Housing Market Forecast

Who's ready to see into the future!! LOL just joking but i wanted to take this time to share with you the forecast that was shared with me. I am so fortunate to be a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors that offers to it's members the opportunity to hear first hand studies conducted by respected professionals. This fall I attended a open table with Dr. Stanley Longhofer who is with the Center for Real Estate W. Frank Barton School of Business located at Wichita State University. The reason I'm excited about this is that he has used the data from the last 8 years to compile a report of the state of Kansas the economic market and focused on the Real Estate Market. Future Outlook According to this study they believe that the Lawrence housing market has started to show signs of improvements with home sales predicted to increase by 4.6% this year. What a year 2010 has been! Lawrence housing market saw an increase in sales activity due to the very successful tax credit for new and existing homeowners. Now we have to get in gear to see what the housing market will do in 2011 in the Lawrence Housing Market.
