I am so fortunate to be a member of the Kansas Association of Realtors that offers to it's members the opportunity to hear first hand studies conducted by respected professionals. This fall I attended a open table with Dr. Stanley Longhofer who is with the Center for Real Estate W. Frank Barton School of Business located at Wichita State University. The reason I'm excited about this is that he has used the data from the last 8 years to compile a report of the state of Kansas the economic market and focused on the Real Estate Market. What a year 2010 has been! Lawrence housing market saw an increase in sales activity due to the very successful tax credit for new and existing homeowners.
